I know this place, because I’ve lived it.
Hi, I'm Kate and like you I wasn’t spiralling. I wasn’t hitting a dramatic “rock bottom.”

I was holding it together, helping others, working, even teaching yoga for goodness sake, I was living a life that looked good.

But there were habits I couldn’t seem to shake - coping mechanisms that numbed me more than they nourished me. Drinking wine when I had decided I wouldn't, smoking weed even though it hurt my chest. I was being controlled by these things.
The problem wasn’t that I was broken.

It was that I didn’t know how to pause, feel, and choose something different.
Once I began listening to the deeper messages in my body and connecting to
my values, things started to shift.
Not overnight, but from the inside out.
That’s what Rise Above is about.

Each week includes a group Zoom call (every Monday evening at 7pm) where we will go through different experiences and learn new tools, recorded meditations, breath practices and recorded exercises that you can repeat as many times as you need.
These will cover topics such as transforming cravings, finding your values, tuning into your true self, your future self and meeting the parts the addict doesn't want you to know
